The setup is made very simple due to the color coded wires. The auto calibration system takes about 5 min to adjust volume levels. The sub-woofer offers a lot of bass. This can be adjusted by using the 'Dynamic Bass” button on the remote. The system comes with Sony's 'S-Air technology' making the rear speakers wireless.
The system has a built-in, single tray five disc DVD Changer. The DVD changer is amazingly quick though a bit noisy. The system plays the usual DVDs and Audio CDs. Also the system has the ability to play MP3 and JPEG files. It also includes an iPod dock. However, it does not include a video input.

This product delivers solid quality sound for the price. Please note that this system is not intended for a high-end consumer. It is more geared towards audiences who want good sound quality and DVD player on a budget.
The system has it's flaws like inability to retain the last source. So every time you power down the system, it switches to the default source settings. The sound produced by the system is great. Achieving the best quality, does require a bit of work and playing around with settings.
In a nutshell it is a low cost high value product and it does not pretend to be anything else. It is not marketed to a seasoned buyer, with a developed taste for home theater systems. However it can be an ideal buy for students living on a budget.
